Sketchbook: Fearless of the Blank Page – Video

To create this video I taught myself stop-motion animation, filming, and video editing with Adobe Premiere. It utilizes several types of video including animation, still-images, text and actual video footage to tell the story of an art practice that I care a lot about. I have been intrigued by sketchbooks for awhile now and extra curricular activities during my graduate studies led me to think more about how sketchbooks can be used as a way of coping with life’s complexities.

Re-installing Rural – Website

I created this WordPress site, Re-installing Rural, as a digital field guide to rural contemporary art installations. The project provided an opportunity to focus on content curation, research, and aesthetics through a basic digital platform.

Reclaim – Logo and Website

pressed-vinyl-dahlia-round-placemat_peach_nobackground_text

After my wedding in September 2013 I created a Weebly webpage to promote more sustainable weddings, serve as a foundation to sell leftover items from my own wedding and to market my handmade bouquets in an effort to make a little extra income. Reclaim Your Wedding was a side project that became more involved than I had intended, but I had a lot of fun with it. Yes, it was just another wedding site, but it provided a circumstance for me to develop my own brand, write content for the site, curate images, links and all the elements of a functioning website.  The experience gave me another opportunity to gain additional experience in design, content development, writing and digital media.
