The Sketchbook: Fearless of the Blank Page

This video was the final project for my Comparative Technologies course during spring term of 2015. I taught myself stop-motion animation, filming, and video editing with Adobe Premiere. I am also now the proud owner of a new HD video camera. I wanted to create a video that would utilize several types of video including animation, still-images, text and actual video footage to tell the story of something I cared a lot about. I have been intrigued by sketchbooks for awhile now and extra curricular activities during my graduate studies led me to think more about how sketchbooks can be used as a way of coping with life’s complexities.
