Visual Communication & Technology (VizComm & Tech Lib399)
My Colleague Theo Harrison and I are teaching a new course this winter. It’s called Visual Communication & Technology. The class explores the pedagogical uses of high-resolution video screens like the 50 million pixel wall in the Price Science Commons’ VizLab. We are also exploring use of tools such as light-boards, and software that can take advantage of a large video screen canvas such as GIS (QGIS in this instance) and time-line software such as iSpring, Sutori, and Timeline-JS.
