Brooke received her BA in Linguistics from the University of Oregon in Spring 2016. In the LVC lab, she spent her time transcribing sociolinguistic interviews for CORAAL, the first public corpus of African American English. She has also worked on a team to design the website to house the corpus. Her aspirations include incorporating her linguistics background in her future work teaching English abroad and in the Speech-Language Pathology field.
