Learning Objectives: As an upcoming arts and cultural manager, there are numerous things that I would like to learn from this upcoming term. Throughout the duration of this term, I would like to fully immerse myself in the realm of marketing, and new platforms of communication that are foreign to me. As it stands now, I am not versed on using web-based technology as a form of professional communication. Hopefully, through this term, and the remainder of this graduate program, I will have the opportunity to explore what this form of communication has to offer. In addition to learning new communication media (such as WordPress), I will also have the opportunity to learn about the semiotics of branding and effective marketing strategies.
