Meet GEO’s Growing Institutional Relations Team

Jane Thiele
Senior Institutional Relations Representative (Midwest and Southeast Regions)

GEO is delighted to announce that Jane Thiele will join the GEO Institutional Relations (IR) team as its Senior Institutional Relations Representative (Midwest and Southeast Regions) on July 25, 2017. Jane comes to GEO from Arcadia University where she has worked in Institutional Relations and Student Outreach since 2013. Prior to this, Jane was the Outreach Manager of the Gilman International Scholarship Program (2010-2013) and a Regional Coordinator for AIFS (2008-2010). Based in Austin, TX Jane can be contacted at thiele@uoregon.edu. She looks forward to getting to know GEO’s partners in the Midwest and Southeast and will reach out to each of you in the coming weeks.

 

 

Dana Elliott
Institutional Relations Representative (Western Region)

We are pleased to announce that Dana Elliott will join the GEO Institutional Relations (IR) team as its Institutional Relations Representative (Western Region) on July 26, 2017. Dana will work closely with GEO’s partners in the Northwest as well as develop new institutional partnerships on campuses across the West.  Dana brings more than a decade of experience in international education, working with administrators and students at institutions such as the University of South Dakota, Lewis-Clark State College (Idaho) and, most recently, at the University of Oregon as a GEO Study Abroad Advisor. Dana’s broad knowledge of GEO programs, outgoing personality, and professional expertise in many areas of education abroad will be of great benefit to our partners! Kayla Grosjean
Institutional Relations Specialist

We are pleased to announce that Kayla Grosjean joined GEO as an Institutional Relations Specialist on July 5, 2017.  Kayla will work with members of the GEO Institutional Relations team to develop and implement effective outreach strategies that increase international engagement among UO students.  Kayla recently graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education and looks forward to applying perspectives utilizing student development theory in her collaboration with GEO staff and UO campus partners. Kayla can be contacted at grosjean@uoregon.edu.
