2015 AAD Practicum Fair & Community Partner Reception

As emerging members in the arts community in Eugene and Springfield, AAD’s graduate, undergraduate students, and faculty are grateful for the opportunities for professional development provided by all our local arts organizations. With this in mind,  AAD faculty and the student organizations within AAD: Emerging Leaders in the Arts Network (ELAN) and the Student Advisory Group (SAG), collaborate to put on this annual Practicum Fair & Community Partners Reception in order to celebrate the presence, support, and success of our local organizations. This event introduces incoming and returning students to opportunities with in these organizations; including their yearly events and productions, volunteer opportunities, practicum field work, and internship positions. The 2015 Community Partners Reception & Practicum Fair will take place September 23, 2015 from 2 pm to 4 pm.

A representative from each attending Community Partner will be on hand with printed materials about their organization and ready to answer student questions.

Light refreshments and beverages will be provided. Sign up to join ELAN during the Practicum Fair and be entered into a raffle for gift certificates from our wonderful local sponsors: Red Wagon Creamery, The Duck Store, and Townshend’s Tea Company!

This year the event is being hosted by two organizations: The Jazz Station and Oregon Contemporary Theater. The reception will begin at the Jazz Station at 2 pm.

2015 AAD Practicum Fair and Community Partner Reception

Many local organizations have provided time and expertise through sponsoring an AAD practicum student, helping  to ensure the professional development and advancement of national and local arts community leaders. As current or incoming AAD graduate students, we hope you will join us this year for a special event to connect with local arts organizations, experience the downtown community and get to know each other. Please join us for food and beverages, raffle items and be prepared to make connections! On behalf of all of us at ELAN, we look forward to seeing you at this year’s event!
