Lamp madeout of strips

I’m looking at some cool origami lamps and traditional lamps too. Since for last three weeks most things I do was punching holes on a plane, so this week I think I need to do more thinking into the 3d realm by bending and folding.

So I look back at my very first try out of the lamp, strips have huge potentials in sculptural aspects so I decided to go back using strips.

The grasshopper portion in these design is not that significant I’m afraid. But I did have deep understanding in 3d aspect design now.

I made my lamp using 1/32 task board. And uses different lighting to see how light changes the atmosphere.
