6/16/25 – 7/22/25 Miller Theatre Complex and Villard Hall Electrical Shutdown

Begin:  Monday, June 16, 2025, at 8:00 am

End:      Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 4:00 pm

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Miller Theatre Complex and Villard Hall

Scope:  Miller Theatre Complex has been operating on a temporary power feed for the Heritage project over the last 1.5 years. Electricians will need to cut power to MTC and reinstall new power feeds to new electrical panels. This process will take 4-5 weeks in total to complete.

Services Impacted:  We have no occupants in Villard Hall, and all occupants of Miller Theatre have been planning on this shutdown and will be vacating the building after 6/15.  Temp power is in place to cover DAS antennas. Once power is off, we will have 24-hour round the clock service performing “fire watch” on the building, until power is restored.

Special Instructions:  Please shut down and unplug all multi-function copier devices as well as any printers during scheduled power outages. The software on these machines can be negatively affected due to the power surge when the power is turned back on.  A power surge can corrupt the clone files in the machines and change preconfigured settings.  For questions, please contact Kati Kronholm at 541-346-5370 or katik@uoregon.edu.  For non-copier questions, please reach out to the contact person listed below.
