Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  1700 Millrace

Scope:  As part of the ongoing construction work that McKenzie Commercial is handling for Fall Creek Farm and Nursery, the building’s fire alarm system will undergo testing. Initial alarms will sound for 5–10 minutes, with additional intermittent alarms possible throughout the following hour.

Services Impacted:  The alarm will be loud and sound throughout the entire building.

Details:  Horns, Strobes, and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after the scheduled time. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.
