Fire alarm testing will occur at 6:00 am Tuesday, January 23rd, in Knight Library. This is a re-schedule of the testing that was cancelled due to the ice storm.

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected: The Knight Library basement, specifically the Testing Center Suite 31 and rooms 30, 32, and 19
Scope: IES will be testing the fire alarm installation in the Testing Center. This will be a brief test of the system to ensure the new installation is working.
Details: Horns, Strobes, and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after the scheduled time. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.
