Building(s) or Area(s) Affected: Huestis Hall basement and Lokey Labs
Scope: As part of the Huestis Deferred Maintenance Project, the fire suppression and alarm system will be shut down on two days to allow the contractor to complete final connections. This outage will affect Lokey Labs and Huestis basement. Contractor will provide fire watch during this event.
Details: Horns, Strobes, and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after the scheduled time. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.
