UPDATE:
The work on the fire suppression system has been delayed until September 19 to allow the coordination of work efforts and consolidation of shutdowns.

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected: Huestis Hall
Scope: As part of the Huestis Renovation project, the fire suppression system will be offline to allow for final connections of the fire riser piping in the basement and north and south stair towers. Contractor will conduct fire watch during this outage.
Services Impacted: This will affect the basement and stair towers.
Details: Horns, Strobes, and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after the scheduled time. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.
