9/12/23 Fenton Hall Fire Sprinkler System Work Advisory

UPDATE 8/31/23:
Prior to completion of our office space addition in room 314, our contractors need to perform some audible fire alarm testing. There will be a pre-test on September 6th between 6am and 8am, and a city fire alarm inspection on September 12th between 6am-8am. Both days may involve both audible alarms and lighted strobes during the specified times.

Details:  Horns, Strobes, and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after the scheduled time. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after the scheduled time should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.
