Millions of female fetuses have been aborted since the 1970s. The abandonment, and killing, of baby girls has also been reported, though recent research studies say it has become rare, in part due to strict criminal prohibitions.
3.) Fear of Losing Future Successful Generations
India is a country with a booming technology industry, one that relies on young people. There is fear that, by restricting the number of children that can be born, there will not be enough educated young people in the next generation to carry on India’s technological revolution.
4.) Violates Women’s Rights
This emphasis and value of men within societies across the world, points to the real solution to the population issue. Women’s rights.
