3.) Fear of Losing Future Successful Generations
India is a country with a booming technology industry, one that relies on young people. There is fear that, by restricting the number of children that can be born, there will not be enough educated young people in the next generation to carry on India’s technological revolution.
4.) Violates Women’s Rights
This emphasis and value of men within societies across the world, points to the real solution to the population issue. Women’s rights.
This includes better education, career opportunities, and access to birth control. This would not only be a big step for the women’s rights, but it is proven to decrease fertility: “Reducing fertility is essential if future population growth is to be reined in.
