Darren Johnson Receives Martin Luther King, Jr. Award

Chemistry and Biochemistry faculty Darren Johnson is among the recipients of the UO 2016 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Awards.

The MLK awards celebrate those who go beyond prescribed job duties to exemplify the values and principles of racial justice, equity and inclusion. All the award winners were nominated by peers who see them regularly demonstrate qualities and causes the late civil rights leader supported.

The awards were presented at the annual luncheon on Wednesday, January 20th at the Ford Alumni Center Ballroom, open to all members of the university community.

The 2016 Awardees are:
