CALLAN ROEMER- KOCH Landscape Architects   

Since graduating from the landscape architecture program in 2017, Callan has held positions in the public and private sectors. 

She has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects including park master plans, wayfinding and signage, and residential design.

Her appreciation of landscape architecture continues to develop as she navigates the professional world and she is always seeking new ways to apply design strategies to bring people together.  

BRIAN STUHR- Mayer/Reed

Brian loves observing people and the places they inhabit. Initially trained as a cultural anthropologist, he enjoys traveling and meeting new people. He also loves to draw. 

These traits, combined with a love of the outdoors and natural systems, led him to landscape architecture, “As designers, it is our job to dream; but it also our responsibility to apply our creativity to the big, system-wide challenges that our civilization will be required to solve moving forward.”

CASEY HOWARD- MIG

Casey Howard specializes in landscape design, graphic communication, analysis and planning, illustration, and creative problem-solving.

 Following her success as a student in winning local, national, and international awards for innovations in sustainable design, Casey joined the MIG team to develop skills in public engagement and holistic design. 

Her current work spans park master planning, cultural landscape research, and urban design. She brings support to a wide variety of projects with advanced visualization techniques, ecological perspective, and community outreach skills. 

Casey graduated from UO in 2016 with a BLA and has worked at a variety of firms from three-person residential design offices to the 300-person multi-disciplinary firm she is now a part of.
