Undergraduate researchers play an important part in the Tyler lab. Our undergraduates work closely with graduate mentors, most commonly on spin-off projects of thesis work. We strive to develop our undergraduates into independent, critical thinkers, and instill in them a passion for scientific rigor. Tyler lab undergraduates are expected to devote a significant amount of time each week to research, as well as attending lab meetings, giving oral presentations, and co-authoring publications.If you are an undergraduate student interested in research opportunities, please contact professor Tyler.
