Art in Society Learning Objectives and Reflection

1.I want to learn and have a deeper understand about the broader ideas of aesthetics and art participation and what the interaction is between the two of them.

Although this term is very short, but learned very rich knowledge. Through this course of study, I understand what is involved in art, what is aesthetic. I have  a general understanding about two of this concepts, but I still did not quite understand what the interaction and correlation between them.

2. I want  to know a greater understanding of what is the  art world and how they form an art world.

I believe that art has no boundaries, so the art world is expansive，so the art world can not use a word or sentence to describe,

3. I’m curious about after doing the readings the idea of transmedia. But what is the nature of the transmedia？ Like when typing my assignment, the word “transmedia” are still a new word and the Mac can not recognize this word.

A whole seamster, we learn around transmedia. Information spread and interaction between different media. This is derived a new from of media after the rapid development. Any tool can spread information through an innovative way to show it, I think it can be called transmedia.

4.I want to through this course of study, I learned in the art world, understand the importance of public participation, because this is also related to the content and analysis of management studies.

The importance of public participation, I have a profound felt. We have talked about the remix of the presentation, did the individual’s presentation about my field guide. If all about these does not  have public participation, it  can not be completed. Like the art world, if any form of art that no one involved in, then it will end development.

5.This course focuses on the community, it will see a lot of social art and form. China and America has a  different cultures, so  I can understand more social and cultural art form I never seen before.

The United States have a general development of the arts community, the subject is also very broad and unrestricted. After comparing,  I learned that there are a lot of organizations which  I can not imagine before but they are really  popular in the United States. It also opened up my eyes, broken my inherent mindset.
