Resources

I found a nice website that walks you through a Santorini field trip with photos and text: http://www.photovolcanica.com/VolcanoInfo/Santorini/Santorini.html

In the hall of my office area (Cascade 125) are at the booklet field guides to Crete and Santorini for you to look at – please do not take these.

Field Trip logistics

I need another $250 payment from each of the students.  Due by March 2nd.  Check (to Emilie Hooft Toomey), Paypal (emilie@uoregon.edu), or Cash.

Santorini field guide

Next two Fridays (Feb 9th & 16th): Santorini field guide.  I will lead the discussion and we will go around the room taking turns going over the figures.  It is an easy read (though long) and a great summary of work on the island.  There are printouts on the table in the hall of my office area (Cascade 125) for you to take. Please look at the booklet field guides to Crete and Santorini there and do not take those.

Thanks to Bart, Ellen, Marissa and Miles for guiding our discussions of the papers till now and to Michele for his presentation.
