Learning Objectives (MktgMediaComm)

My learning objectives for the Marketing Media and Communication class are based around the computer.  I want to learn more about creating our own websites, how certain types of technology work into our program of Arts Administration, and many other functional goals. I am fairly lost when it comes to technology so I feel that this course will be very valuable and helpful to me. I also want to learn more about branding and how to interpret different marketing strategies.

End of Quarter Evaluation:

It is now week ten. I feel that I have fulfilled almost all of my original learning objectives for Marketing, Media, and Communication. I have learned vast amounts about websites and now have two, full functioning websites on blogs.uoregon.edu. I have learned how to use the Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign. I still struggle quite a bit with certain aspects of the technology, but I am comfortable with it, which is a huge accomplishment for me! I have learned about brands, and now evaluate every single brand I see. This class has been very valuable to my learning and will be very applicable to future classes in the AAD program.
