Alumni

The Sapsik’ʷałá Alumni Network consists of teachers, administrators, researchers, and community members representing 49 federally recognized tribes across Indian Country. Since 2002, Sapsik’ʷałá and University of Oregon’s College of Education have invested in tribal communities by training highly qualified licensed Indigenous teachers that serve the educational needs of American Indian/Alaska Native youth. The stories, experiences, and achievements of our alumni testifies to their day-to-day commitment to strengthening tribal peoples and communities through education. 116 Sapsik’ʷałá alumni are serving in tribal communities today. Visit our Alumni in News page to learn more about their stories and impacts.
