VICE CHAIR
Performs duties in the Chair’s Absence; Coordinates elections, both at Regional and interim; provides assistance to the Chair
DIRECTOR OF LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS
Research and disseminate information regarding upcoming state legislation, coordinate with the board for legislative action; provide assistance to the National Director of Legislative Affairs
EMPLOYMENT CONCERNS ADVOCATE
Monitor campus and legislative issues in the Region concerning issues of employment while graduate and/or professional students are obtaining their degree; provide assistance to the National Employment Concerns Advocate
SOCIAL JUSTICE ADVOCATE
Monitor campus and legislative issues in the Region and coordinate the development and advocacy of policies and programs which provide for a diverse learning environment; provide assistance to the National Social Justice Advocate
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATION
Publish (3) three issues of the Western Regional Newsletter; maintain email lists of all member and non-member institutions; provide assistance to the National Director of Communication
DIRECTOR OF OUTREACH
Maintain and update a membership list; encourage the development of new GSOs in the region; provide assistance to the National Director of Outreach
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONCERNS CHAIR
Monitor campus and legislative issues in the Region which affect the ability of graduate and/or professional students from other countries to study in the United States; provide assistance to the National International Student Concerns Chair
