Meeting Day/Time: Tuesdays, 4:00-5:20pm

Note #1:  To make this class fit best with the current group of students, any of the schedule may change due to scheduling needs with possible guests and/or activities. As such scheduling may change quickly and if it does we will let you know ASAP via email and on this site.  Also note that within each session we will have other activities that are not listed to help our building community and introducing you to your university academic career.  Stay tuned!

Note #2: We will have other academic events and socials to attend. Again with our current situation we will consider the best and safest ways to host these socials.  These events and socials will be organized by the students and FA. They are not required but will be fun and informative!

Week 1 = Introductions: Who we are! Why Comics??? + Outlining Ideas

Week 2 = UO Library: Let’s discover together! + Work Time

Week 3 = Discussion: Art and Comics for Activism + Drawing Studio Time

Week 4 = Museum Visit

Week 5 = Mid-term Check In + Activities

Week 6 = ??? (let’s decide as we go!)

Week 7 = Two-Year Plan + Studio Time

Week 8 = Discussion: Wrap Up Thoughts: What have we learned from the other classes?


Week 9 = Wrap + Studio Time

Week 10 = Showcasing our work!
