Welcome to the 2019 UO’s First-Year College Connections course, My Visual Story: Comics and Personal Storytelling.

In this course we will be exploring the personal and political narratives in the UO’s 2019-2020 Common Reading novel, Under the Feet of Jesus.  And within the entire FIG we will be learning about the effects of the environment on family heritage and the ways in which storytelling create powerful shared experiences.

I am excited about the ways in which we will be exploring how our College Connections course connects ENG 280: Introduction to Comic Studies and ENVS 203 Introduction to Environmental Studies: Humanities.

We will be meeting Fridays, 12:00-1:20pm in Peterson Hall room 101.
