You can complete the enrollment survey here or email us at mocca@uoregon.edu. Requirements include administering MOCCA up to three times during the school year and providing demographic and academic outcome data. Most educational tests let us know how students are performing in academic subject areas.  Many schools use a wide variety of reading assessments to measure student ability, and let parents know if their child might need some extra help working on reading comprehension.

But… wouldn’t it be great if a test could tell you why your students are not comprehending well?

That is exactly what MOCCA, the Multiple-Choice Online Causal Comprehension Assessment, is designed to do!

Originally designed for students in Grades 3 to 5, MOCCA identifies children who struggle with comprehension, and helps uncover why they struggle. Now computer-adaptive and available for Grades 2-6, contact us to use MOCCA in your school for free: mocca@uoregon.edu.

We provide a reading comprehension score and diagnostic comprehender type classification. We also provide an interpretive guide with useful tips to boost comprehension. Free webinar support and professional development is also available.
