Getting the Ball Rolling

Relating back to my Leadership Development Plan, I was a little hesitant to take on the role of Team Leader given my history for taking on too many things and getting frustrated with people for not completing tasks the way I perceive as being the correct way. But I also saw the role as a chance to exercise my patience and delegation skills with the team and come out at the end of the term as a much better communicator.

Altogether I feel as though this class has made me a far better leader by helping me to see the areas within myself that I’m not as strong in and communicating with peers that I might not have otherwise.
