Upcoming Morse Center Event: Living Data

On Friday, February 20, the Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics will be hosting a symposium on “Living Data: Inhabiting New Media,” addressing the timely topics of new media theory, data histories, network culture, and information ecologies in an interdisciplinary format.

The symposium will be held at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art and features keynote speaker Wendy Hui Kyong Chun, 2014-15 Wayne Morse Chair of Law and Politics here at the University of Oregon, and professor of modern culture and media at Brown University.

Additional symposium panelists include Sarah Igo (Vanderbilt), Erkki Huhtammo (UCLA), Rita Raley (UCSB), Tung-Hui Hu (Michigan), Natasha Schull (MIT), Kris Paulsen (Ohio State), and Markus Krajewski (Bauhaus University Weimar). Read more about the panelists here.
