- Explanation of the rationale: we develop the instructional unit by analyzing the framework of Modularity, which is one of the computer science concept, and the standards of narrative writing to 5th graders. Here is the link we can use as a reference (https://www.davis.k12.ut.us/Page/51251).
- Key project: Group story-construction project. Students will be in groups of 5 to complete group paintings that include five narrative writing elements at the end of this instructional unit.
- Formative assessment: peer- reviewing, teachers’ feedback, and fulfilling the handouts
