This is a great resource for learning more about Pacific Northwest ocean creatures and species that can be found at South Slough. The book includes descriptions of the plants and animals written inlanguage well understood by all ages.

Its size, organization and content make this book a great resource to have in the tidepools. It is filled with fantastic pictures, easily comprehensible explanations, and fascinating tidbits on most organisms.

This provides a great introduction for younger students in elementary school. It is a descriptive picture book that includes species found in Oregon tidepools.

This book is a great introduction to global climate change for students ranging from elementary to junior high grade levels. It can also be used as a resource for teachers to review the basic underlying concepts of global climate change. The pictures and diagrams in this book make it fun and easy to read for all grade levels.
