Dayna Lamb is a sophomore Environmental Science major at the University of Oregon. She grew up in Portland, OR where she began her environmental education experience as a student leader with Oregon’s Outdoor School program. When she moved to Eugene her interest in the habitats of the Pacific Northwest took off. She immersed herself by jumping into biology and ecology classes that taught her how to appreciate the beauty that makes the Northwest unique. Outside of school Dayna explores her natural settings on foot or by bike. Now taking classes at Oregon Institute of Marine Biology, she frequently finds herself exploring every inch of land the Oregon coast has to offer. Dayna is ecstatic to be working with the Environmental Leadership Program so she can share her knowledge and love for forest and marine species with students and people of all ages.
