Isabella was selected by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association as one of only 11 students nationally to receive the 2020 Students Preparing for Academic Research Careers (SPARC) Award. The purpose of this award is to cultivate student interest in pursuing a PhD and career in academia in the field of communication disorders and sciences. Isabella is a currently a master’s student in communication disorders and sciences program as well as a research assistant for the EDLD lab. Over the next year, she will be using this award to engage in several research and teaching activities. Congratulations Isabella!
