Dr. Lauren Cycyk, co-director of the EDLD Lab, has been awarded a 2018 New Investigators Research Grant from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation. This funding will support Drs. Cycyk and De Anda to study the impact of maternal talk and health on the language development of 24 month old children from families who speak Spanish. This study includes children with special needs.
