ry people are updated on everywhere. In effect of this war, millions of Ukrainian citizens are unable to access a stable food source, water, and other essentials. This war began when Russia invaded Ukraine in fears of Ukraine joining NATO. Currently Putin has recently signed laws to annex four regions in Ukraine into Russia. Other countries including the US are aiding Ukraine by sending ammunition and military grade weapons so they can defend themselves from Russia. This war Vladomir Putin has started has created the closest thing to a nuclear war the world has seen since the cold war. So many innocent civilians have been injured or killed during this conflict and has left much of Ukraine baron. “Over 6 million people are internally displaced within the country” (Pistilli). Countries like Poland, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, & Moldova have given refuge to thousands of Ukrainians who had to leave their homes in search of safety.For children in Ukraine their education is on a hold as they are trying to survive in their everyday life. With Ukraine unable to ship and import goods the world hunger rate has gone up. Support from other countries is vital for the survival of Ukraine and countries helping include the US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Greece, Czech Republic, Canada, Romania, Canada, Belgium, & Portugal. On the contrary, countries like Belarus, China, Syria, India, Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, & Pakistan who support or ignore the conflict create more of a divide between countries. There seems to be no end to the Russia-Ukraine crisis and people everywhere refuse to let Putin get away with his militaristic plans to gain more land.
