Grasshopper Tool Demo – Mosquito, Flow

The Mosquito Plugin I used is a way to find water flow direction based on a topography.  A quite simple script, you must first take topography lines and create a surface with the Patch command in Rhino.  Unfortunately this does not always lead to a completely accurate topo surface, but it can create a relatively accurate surface with more detailed topo lines.  You must then reference that surface into grasshopper and use the surface divide plugin to create a grid of points.  You then can place the Flow component into the script to create the flow lines.  You can change the resolution and amount of flow lines for visual aesthetic.
