Congratulations to the Madras Hazards Plan Integration Team, who won best team poster at the PPPM Awards Ceremony held on Thursday, June 12, 2014.

Each year, PPPM: Planning, Public Policy and Management graduating students (completing a thesis or exit project), CPW: Community Planning Workshop teams, and MPA Capstone: Master of Public Administration groups create posters summarizing their work/projects for the past academic year. Classified in two separate categories: 1) group (MPA/CPW) and 2) individual, each award attendee was given a ballot to cast one vote for the best group poster and  best individual poster.

Held at the Ford Alumni Center, posters were proudly displayed with teams/individuals present to chat with award attendees about their project. Winners announced at the end of the awards ceremony with Team Madras taking the award for the best group poster. Each Team Madras member received a $40 Amazon gift card.

“A very sweet way to finish our first year of grad school and a successful CPW experience”, said Ross Peizer, member of Team Madras.
