Scope:  CPFM is starting a new program call Facility Condition Assessment, or FCA, to assess the existing condition of 63 E&G buildings and on campus.  You will receive a notice every week with an update of the upcoming week’s proposed building inspection list.  The order is not set in stone so your feedback regarding special events or special access needs is welcome and we can work to accommodate your needs.

Services Impacted:  We do not want to disrupt classes in session or inconvenience you in this process but we may ask to look inside some offices and conference rooms to visually inspect the condition of existing finishes. The information collected will be used to provide quantifiable data to the Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) as to the extent of deferred maintenance backlog on Campus.  This data will also allow CPFM to set priorities for Capital Improvement Projects and the 10 Year Campus Plan.

Extra Notes:  In order to accomplish this you will see a group of CPFM and outside consultant staff touring buildings doing visual inspections of all building components from the exterior to the interior.  This process will be ongoing for approximately 4-5 weeks.
