The title of her thesis is “Adaptive Evolution in Paralogous Immune Receptor Families”
Up next: Nicole has begun working as a Bioinformatician for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, doing genotype-phenotype predictions for hospital-associated microbial antibiotic resistance genes. Currently she is deployed to the CDC’s COVID response tracking variants.
