Baylie Stillwell is currently attending the University of Oregon where she is a candidate for a Master of Arts in Arts Management with a certification in Museum Studies. She is the Vice Chair for the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art Student Advocacy Council, as well as the First-Year Representative for the Arts and Administration’s Student Advisory Group. She is also gaining valuable leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills as the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art’s Volunteer Coordinator for opening reception events.

Her passion is to create hands-on, relevant educational programming for all learners, regardless of one’s socioeconomic background or disability. She encourages curiosity and creativity, as well as social inclusion and respect for all. She believes an educator achieves success when learners leave with new knowledge, whether it is from lesson material or simply from communication and social interaction.

Baylie’s research initiatives include accessibility of museum resources for educators and students in underserved communities, specifically rural areas.
