Reflection:

In recent 100 years, public funding for the Arts play an important role in modern art. Many artists travel to everywhere for showing their creativity of art. They combined different ages of art to be a whole artwork. It showed history of different arts. They captured history and place-making directly. Like Albert (b. 1894) and Arthur Runquist (b.1891), they made a great contribution for art.

cover

Works Progress Administration is the largest and most ambitious New Deal agencies employ millions of unemployed personnel for public works projects, including the construction of public buildings and roads. It can help the relationship of cultural values to civic dialogue, beautification and identity. At the same time,  musicians, artists, writers, actors and directors in large arts, drama, media, and literacy projects can get benefits from this project.

Future:

For me, I will promote WPA to people who do not know it. This project will be an important role in future. I think more and more projects like this will be showed in many public places. The society need people to pay more attention on WPA.
