More time to work on our final projects were given on the morning of the 28th and I took it slow with a long breakfast at the Bicycle Hotel. When I eventually made it out of the hotel, I met Tenley and Dylan at a vegan pancake place to do some work. However, after about 45 minutes we were kicked out because they were getting busy, we had only ordered drinks and were all working on our laptops. We walked down the street a bit to a place we knew would have good WiFi, good seating, and average coffee. Starbucks was home for the next few hours for the three of us and I was glad to really get into a groove in my work. It was also great to spend a good chunk of the day with classmates I had not spent a whole lot of my free time with, especially because we would all be parting ways in two days time.
A canal ride with the whole group, including surprise visits from Adam, Ronald, and their families kicked off the evening. It seemed like almost everyone brought a bottle of wine for the group, but we had no problems with that. It was one last fun adventure with everyone and it could not have gone any better. The boat fit everyone perfectly and we had a great time eating, drinking, and socializing with one another before the presentations the next day. We were on the boat for 2 hours, but it hardly seemed that long and I was sure to snag a couple of selfies with folks before we left.
