Information Services and our campus partners have been hard at work on the transition to OnBase.
Due to some high-priority issues that arose late in that process, we have postponed the launch of DuckDocs (OnBase) until August 29.
That launch date now applies to all Singularity users, not just those in the Office of the Registrar and the Admissions Office.
Timeline: Migration from Singularity to OnBase
Here is an updated timeline for the transition to OnBase:
- Aug. 27: Last day to use Singularity*
- Aug. 28: End of Singularity use*
- Aug. 29: All Singularity users start using DuckDocs (OnBase)
*Exception for Registrar’s Office and Admissions Office: For documents started in Singularity workflows before Aug. 28, RO and AO staff should finish those in Singularity. However, all new documents for workflows should be started in DuckDocs (OnBase).
Training
- Our understanding is that training is complete for Singularity users transitioning to OnBase.
- If you think you need OnBase training and haven’t received it, please contact the appropriate departmental administrator (see: OnBase Departmental Administrators).
Migration from Perceptive to OnBase (GE Workflow)
- The date for the transition from Perceptive to OnBase still has not been determined.
- IS staff are still working to gather requirements and design elements for redevelopment of the Graduate Employee (GE) Workflow.
- Staff will then work with users to redevelop that workflow in OnBase.
- Documents will also need to be migrated from Perceptive to OnBase.
- Training for users will also be offered prior to the transition.
