Payday is the last working day of each month. Direct deposit is highly recommended and can be set up through DuckWeb using your UO ID number. Questions about payroll or concerns about your paycheck may be directed to Jennifer McGovney.

New employees eligible for benefits (0.50 FTE or more) have 30 days from date of hire to select and enroll in the UO benefit program. Register for an Employee Benefit Orientation session here. Human Resources also offers a half-day workshop to acquaint new employees with the organization, structure and philosophy of the University of Oregon; find registration information for this New Employee UO Orientation workshop.

More resources for new employees, including information about flexible savings accounts, professional development opportunities, tuition benefits, wellness programs and other benefits, are available at the Human Resources New Employee Resource Center webpage.

The work environment at the University of Oregon, including teaching, research, service, equity and inclusion, hiring, retention, promotion and tenure, is governed by the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs.
