Our Mission
Welcome to our site!
We are five young teachers and we are trying to teach 4th or 5th grade students mathematics in terms of technology.
Students are able to access to technology in classrooms such as laptops and tablets to discover mathematics by enjoying technology. For example, Scratch. Like our class EDST422, we saw different projects and how other people created them, what ideas that people came up with and what they tried to tell us about our learning. Students in elementary schools can also get know about this creative and flexible projects and create their own! That’s great, isn’t it? After students are done with their projects, teachers can ask them how and why they have their special ideas and give them suggestions/feedbacks as well.
Students are led to learn and they discover things by thinking about things and creating their own technological stuff. They learn by play and improve by practice.
Math and technology are the main subjects that we are doing with. We are trying to combine math and technology together, lead students to learn technology through building mathematical thinking and at the same time, they can enjoy math by creating technological things.
