This year we decided to take a site visit trip right here in the Eugene/Springfield area.

We had the opportunity to take a small group of members to Yogi Tea and Richardson Sports!

We were so lucky to get the opportunity to visit Richardson Sports this year. Starting about 50 years ago Richardson started making sports wear for every sport, but later found their niche in making hats. Most of their business comes from local sports teams in Oregon (especially baseball) however they do ship their product all over the country. During our visit with Yogi Tea we got an in depth look at the company from a global perspective, and event got a behind the scenes look at how their tea is made and packaged. Originally starting in a small yoga studio in the 1970s Yogi Tea is based on the principles of a healthy way of life.
