Week 6
We continued to cover recent political and economic unrest in the world and discuss why it is increasing. We are hosting a guest speaker, Michael Russo, a sustainable management professor at the Lundquist College of Business. Dr. Russo spoke about his experiences with international business and travels in the Middle East. This event open to both members and non-members. We will also announced our local fall site visit to ALSCO which will take place Friday Morning on week 8 for members. More information is posted on our website.

Week 4
We introduced our club facility advisor, Dr. Yoav Dubinsky. He gave us a brief background about growing up in Israel and his travels across the continents. He encourages IBEC to have a vision for accepting and including all international cultures and values at the University of Oregon. We then dove into different approaches by solving wicked economic scaled system problems all by drawing toast. Check out UO.IBEC instagram to see some of the creativity our members collaborated on.

Week 2
After tabling at the Flock Party and during the first week of classes, we held our first meeting of the year. The Exec team introduced themselves and our president, Conor Corken, gave an overview of our club and the upcoming events throughout the year. We all got to know each other by building spaghetti structures which towered over 3 feet tall.
