What We Do

The UO Horn studio motivates students to discover their greatest potential as musicians and music educators. Students develop their love of music and culture and an understanding and respect of discipline and process. Self-expression is nurtured, and students are free to explore career paths as they find their voice and purpose.

Horn students have great educational opportunities, both on campus and off. We take an annual trip to the Northwest Horn Symposium, where students participate in master classes, mock auditions, lectures, warm-up sessions, etc., and network with students from other Northwest area colleges.
