I believe that the image I created can be considered art. I think that anything a person creates can be considered art. I selected different images that I believe represent what an artist is. I put these images together in a way that I thought worked well. The process of doing this was creative and the final product is appealing to the eye. This is why I believe that my image can be considered art.

In addition to this, Dissanayake says that “art is a psychological or emotional need and has psychological or emotional effects.” (Page 15). Personally, I think this collage will have emotional effects on people because it did on me.
