Our very first guest for Fall term will be Miki Sasaki, Assistant Professor of Trumpet. Read his bio, here.
Our second guest for Fall term will be Natalie Reyes, SOMD DSAC President & Dance Major.
Natalie is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Oregon, dance department, with a minor in legal studies. Recently Natalie was named president of the dean’s student advisory council for the School of Music and Dance. She studies all forms of dance and movement including; ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, African dance, hip-hop, salsa, creating composition, pilates, and yoga. Her goal as an artist is to create a way to develop a greater notion of an equitable and inclusive dance community. Natalie is passionate about the arts being represented by a wide range of diversity in all variations of dance and music. She loves to spend time with her family, watching football, and volunteering for nonprofit organizations in the Salem, Portland, and Eugene Communities when she has free time.
